Meet the State Regent

About Julie
Julie holds a degree in Business Management with a minor in Sculpture—an academic combination that reflects both her analytical mindset and creative spirit. Since graduating, she has earned certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB), reinforcing her dedication to structured, results-oriented problem solving. From technology and communication challenges to streaming day-to-day operations, Julie exceeds at finding practical, efficient solutions—especially when someone says, "There has to be an easier way to do this."
Her career spans a remarkably diverse range of industries, including banking, insurance, industrial lubricants, custom printing, dental practice management, credit union education, healthcare diagnostics, energy, ammunition, semiconductors, and health system infrastructure. This breadth of experience equips her to adapt and thrive in a variety of professional settings—most often within Project Management Offices where she leads system and process implementations. Julie currently serves as a Project Manager with St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho.
Outside of DAR
Julie enjoys a wide variety of hobbies, including paddle boarding, color coding, gardening, fishing, crafting, kite flying, and tackling DIY home improvement projects.
Why DAR?
A proud third-generation Daughter of the American Revolution, Julie is celebrating 25 years of service. She values the meaningful connection DAR provides—especially the opportunity to serve alongside her mother, affectionately known as the other half of the "Twins" (you can follow their adventures on Facebook at #riendeautwins). Through DAR, she has built strong friendships with like-minded women across the country and around the world, united by the shared values of God, Home, and Country. These bonds inspire her continued service and reflect her belief that "Better has not limits"—just like the patriots who fought for American independence. Julie also appreciates DAR's commitment to celebrating members' achievements and the collective success of the organization. Though she now lives in the Boise area, Julie remains deeply connected to her home chapter, Alice Whitman, in Lewiston—nearly five hours north—and actively participates in local, state, and national DAR events.

State Regent's Project

Ms. Riendeau has elected to support the Idaho Youth ChalleNGe Academy (IDYCA), a residential high school located in Idaho. This high school is a division of the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program. The campaign aids in the IDYCA's mission of reclaiming the lives of 16-18 year old high school dropouts, producing program graduates with the values, life skills, education, and self-discipline necessary to success as responsible and productive citizens of Idaho.
The first $5000 generated from out fundraising efforts will be donated to the IDYCA to help them build an outdoor classroom.
All additional funds generated will become the seed money to launch the first Idaho State Society Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship. During the 2025-2027 Administration, the State Regent's Project Team will work to design and create the framework of the scholarship program. This will include the applicant criteria, administration, as well as the banking requirements for these designated funds with the goal of this part of the project to deliver a fully developed Scholarship program.
